Went to see Red Eye today...huzzahs all around. Whilst waiting for my Coke, the guy behind the counter was like "Let me guess...Red Eye?" I should've smiled very sweetly and said "No, actually, Supercross." just to see what he would've said. Man, the previews were nearly enough to make me gouge out my eyes...but then that would've made me miss out on an extended bout of Cillian, so I decided that I'd suffer through it. Suffice it to say, though, I don't have much faith in the quality of the movies coming out over the next few months.

But! Movie was very good...most enjoyable. You just can't go wrong with creeptastic evil that's obsessive about details and has eyes that see right through you. Furthermore, any movie that has the heroine employing a hockey stick as a weapon gets an extra nod of approval. Seriously, though, good movie, and not just because of the eye candy. For a story that could've been mind-bogglingly implausible at so many different points, it was kept pretty down-to-earth with only a couple spots of "Yeeeeeah, I don't really see that happening so much." Hopefully I'll get to see it again, for general purposes but so that I can actually recognize Colby when he's on. Yes! Survivor Colby plays a bodyguard, so that was a nice little bonus.
